For our Risk Management / Quantitative Risk Controlling department in Stuttgart, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Risk Controlling Reporting & Planning, specialising in data analysis, to start as soon as possible. 

In our Risk Management & Regulatory Reporting team, you will make a significant contribution to overall bank management. As a smart person, your task is to identify, assess and manage potential risks in order to ensure the stability and sustainability of Creditplus.

What you are working on

  • You identify, analyze and visualize data trends and key drivers of the relevant risk KPIs in the credit department such as cost of risk in accordance with IFRS 9 and HGB
  • Based on regular quality assessments, you derive business requirements for the data processing and test the implementations from the IT department
  • You are the central point of contact for documentation of the data linage in the context of BCBS 239, definition and qualitative assurance of the risk indicators as well as the implementation of data requirements of the Group and their monthly transmission
  • You perform regular reports of data developments, scenario forecasts and portfolio analyses including the presentation of key findings in committees with the senior management
  • You manage data-related projects and secure the efficient coordination between Risk Control and other departments

What you bring with you

  • Academic degree in mathematics, physics, economics, finance, business, data science or related
  • Very good analytical skills and high numerical affinity as well as a structured working method with a high degree of initiative
  • (Initial) professional experience in the banking sector
  • Overall IT-affinity as well as programming experience (SQL and SAS)
  • Ability to communicate and present complex processes effectively in a management-oriented manner
  • First experience in regulation (CRR, CRD, EBA) and accounting standards (IFRS 9, HGB) preferable
  • Very good MS Office knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of English language
